(More customer reviews)This item was great except for the tap to turn on feature.Tapping turned into pounding very quickly.In the reviews I had read when researching...I found that this was an issue in all of the lower to mid priced bathroom scales.I did put a peice of folded paper underneath the door of the battery compartment that nearly ended the tapping problem.I rarely have any more trouble with it.I am assuming that the tapping loosens the batteries making it harder to turn on.For the cost and a folded peice of paper, this is an excellent buy, especially for those who aren't looking for something fancy.
