(More customer reviews)I did two tests on this scale. First, I weighed myself and got off the scale. Then I repeated that. The weight was the same both times. Second, I weighed myself carrying two 20 lb dumbells. Then I weighed myself without them. The result was 38.8 lbs lighter, which in my opinion is good enough.
The scale is attractive and fits in anywhere, since it is almost all glass. The edge of the glass was a bit rough on the underside edge (not on the edge where you stand).
It would be nice if the scale lit up when you stood on it.
This scale was a replacement for a Tanita, which worked fine for several years, then it started eating up batteries. I had to replace the lithium battery every few weeks, whereas the original lasted years.
Update on November 26, 2009: Scale continues to work perfectly.
