Whynter Intelligent Digital Analysis Scale with 9 Memory Setting Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The scale functions as most, though from the pictures and description it looks extremely sleek and modern. In reality, this scale is clunky and does not fit into a modern bathroom. Functionally it is sound, but from a design standpoint it is quite a clunker.

Health o meter BFM884DQN-60 Body Fat Monitoring Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This scale has lots of features and is pretty to look at but has one fatal flaw: you can't read the display when you are on the scale! It's an angle of viewing issue.I returned one unit thinking it was a defect but was surprised to find the other one had the same problem.I returned it as well this time for a BFM883, which has fewer features, is cheaper but can be read while you are actually on the scale. This is an example of poor design.

Health o Meter HDR900KD-01 Digital Scale, White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you want a nice accurate scale keep looking. This model is lousy at telling you what you weigh. Nothing disappoints more than hopping on and discovering YAY you weigh a certain weight..then trying again a few minutes later and discover NO you actually weigh 5 pounds more!
I called the company and they told me you had to wait a few seconds between weighing in for the scale to recalibrate. So I did that, but it didnt make any difference. My weight has varied as much as 10 pounds on this scale.
On the plus side, its streamlined with a clear read out. But who cares if the read out is so off!

Health o Meter HDR900-05 Digital Scale, Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have been using this scale for a little over a week and so far it has done a great job.The weight appears to be accurate and doesn't vary much from one weighing to another. I tried it several times in a row (with 2 minute breaks in-between) and got the same exact results! The scale is very compact in size and has a nice, red, easy-to-read display that turns on and off automatically.

Just be aware that this scale does not come with the 9V battery like Amazon claims. In fact, the packaging of this scale says that the battery is not included. When I contacted Amazon about it, however, they gave me a small credit in refund to buy the battery.

Conveniently sized, the LED display provides a large, easy-to-read digital weight measurement and alerts you when the 9-volt battery's low. With raised bumpers to protect your floor, the unit stands just 2-1/2 inches off the floor, for a nonbulky profile. Health o Meter HDL645KD-63 Glass Digital Scale, Clear Glass with Silver Metallic Frame Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I did two tests on this scale. First, I weighed myself and got off the scale. Then I repeated that. The weight was the same both times. Second, I weighed myself carrying two 20 lb dumbells. Then I weighed myself without them. The result was 38.8 lbs lighter, which in my opinion is good enough.

The scale is attractive and fits in anywhere, since it is almost all glass. The edge of the glass was a bit rough on the underside edge (not on the edge where you stand).

It would be nice if the scale lit up when you stood on it.

This scale was a replacement for a Tanita, which worked fine for several years, then it started eating up batteries. I had to replace the lithium battery every few weeks, whereas the original lasted years.

Update on November 26, 2009: Scale continues to work perfectly.
