It was horribly inconsistent through several uses and my weight could vary twenty pounds in a span of thirty seconds. At one point it insisted that I was nine pounds, regardless of how many times I stepped on or off the scale. My sister received the same problem, and her readings fluctuated rapidly and greatly. Scale also had trouble identifying weights less than 10 pounds.

On the bright side, it was an attractive looking scale and the readings, however inaccurate, were clear and easy to read even for those with poor eyesight.

(More customer reviews)I realize overall trends are more important than anything else, but, I'm pretty unhappy with just how much this scale varies. It can vary weighing yourself twice by up to 8 pounds! It's really hard to track trends when you dont know if the number you get it +/- 8 pounds at any given time.

I've owned it a couple years, and it's got other flaws - it chews through batteries of the expensive watch type, and i've had to open it several times to clean the circuit board inside with alcohol- it gets wet and when the water dries it reads Err or E untill I take it apart.

(More customer reviews)I bought this scale for my mother, since she has a hard time seeing and I wanted a scale that was easy for her to read. This scale does the job perfectly. The numbers are large and backlit, making the display easy to read.

The only thing that took a little bit to get use to, was you have to tap the scale first (to give it a wake up call), then wait for it to go to "0.0" before you step on. The scale is matched perfectly with the ones in the doctors office too.

I highly recommend this scale to anyone, and i'm very glad I found this.
