Taylor 7004 Compact Lithium Digital Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Yep,

I agree with at least the first three reviews. My "lifetime" lithium battery lasted one year.Upon replacing the battery, I "reset" the scale per the instructions. At that point, I could get past a dashed line on the screen and it would not only not read my weight, but also not shut off. Those expensive little 3V CR2032 batteries died on me BECAUSE the scale would not shut off.And as far as the first review, I can also totally agree.I could not get consistent weight readings (yes, it's a flat floor)from one time to the next.SAVE YOURSELF SOME $$ and just go buy a cheap "spring" style scale.OK, it might not be accurate to 1 pound (say), but isn't that good enough? My new Sunbeam spring scale from Walmart for $15.00 works great and it's SIMPLE.

Taylor 4827 Upscale Speedometer Dial Scale, Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The price for this scale says $19.95 marked down to $9.99, but it really is more like $.50 marked up to $9.99.Right out of the box, the scale does not zero out--because the plastic top to the scale rubs and catches on its plastic base when you stand on it.And the scale reads my weight 10 lbs. lighter than it actually is.Not everything made in China is horrible, but this particular Chinese piece of "craft" is horrible.

Taylor 7530B Black Glass Lithium Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)At first, I was very attracted by the aesthetics of this scale. I'm a sucker for anything thin, black, and glass. I thought it was doing the job, but I was not aware that placing it on carpet would have such a dramatic effect. When I was going through some dieting routines, it claimed that I was losing 30lbs within a week or two. I thought that was quite ridiculous, but did not doubt my scale. When I finally moved it onto tile, it showed a more accurate report, but it still has a tendency to fluctuate frequently, even if I step off and step back on. I compared it to two other scales in my house, and the other scales are pretty dead on with each other, while this one tends to be off by a lb or two.

Health o meter HDM839DQ-53 Glass Weight Tracking Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a very sharp looking scale- with nice big numbers for the weights. I like the twists of the silver banding around the edges- nicer looking and different than most of the straight edge models. It does weigh and keep track of two different people's weight. A little confusing to figure out at first how to switch people. I found you need to wait a number of seconds after choosing #1 or #2 person. If you've weighed before on 1 or 2, then wait for the previous weight to show, then wait for the scale to go back to 0.0. then step on scale-it will weigh you- but stay on because after that it will switch to the 'difference' between this weight and last- up or down arrow will show increase or decrease. That is the only drawback- you have to wait so long for the reading. If you just want to weigh yourself, that's easy, just step on the scale.
