(More customer reviews)This scale has fit an incredible niche in my life that I didnt think would be possible.I work with a lot of obese folks via weight watchers, many of which are unable to weigh themselves on customary scales.That's where this portable scale comes in.

The base is a little heavy, but, that's to be expected with a high capacity scale.It is incredibly accurate and can weigh anyone you'll ever need to weigh :)

in addition, I would imagine, its quite nice for your average shipping store.

It is a high quality scale made of high quality and durable parts, and seems to show little or no wear through repeated use.I'm very happy with this product and so are my larger friends who are having trouble weighing on 330+ scales.

I'd highly recommend this scale to any and all doctors offices in the nation who are having trouble finding a high capacity scale to weigh obese patients, that's affordable.Some bariatric scales can cost thousands of dollars!

Great value for this price!

(More customer reviews)I bought this scale over the other 4 products on the shelf because of all the different heath indicators it reported and because the cartoon-like picture on the box suggested it would be very easy to read.Well it turned out that the operation of the scale is far more complex than it needed to be, and the stream of health indicators are cycled thru far too quickly and then the LCD display goes blank (I'm guessing they didn't do any usability testing before releasing the design).To read all the info it measured/calculated, you need to repeat the weighting process (again, too complex) and be quick to catch what you missed the first time thru.If you just need a basic weight tracking capability, you should probably buy some other scale.Otherwise, this does have more features than the others but you need to be prepared for extra complexity and inconvenient operation.

(More customer reviews)I had looked at the reviews and saw that the Tanita scales overall did very well. So I purchased a cheaper Tanita scale (model HD 327) at first, assuming that all the Tanita scales were reliable, but I was wrong.. I sent back the lower quality model because it was flimsy and not very accurate.. But I decided to give Tanita a second chance and purchased this model the HD 372. It is extremely acccurate, very sturdy, and well made. It is also very attractive.. The blue back lit display is very readable even if you use it in the morning without your contact lenses or glasses on. It uses two different batteries, a nine volt for the blue backlight and a lithium battery for the digital readout. So you could leave out the nine volt battery if you didn't want to use the light.. I've tested the accuracy by weighing known weights, such as free weights with it and it's always accurate. You can't go wrong with this scale.

(More customer reviews)I have used this scale for a month and am happy that it is more accurate and more stable than the previous scale I used. I like that it measures to tenths of a pound. I find that if I stand on the scale the same way each time without shifting my weight from one measurement to the next provides the greatest degree of consistency. This is a small scale and the average adult foot is going to hang over the edge a bit but I have not found this to be a problem and I appreciate the small footprint it takes in the bathroom.

(More customer reviews)The LifeSource scale is extremely easy to setup and to use.The scale takes readings from as far as 15 ft away from the computer.The Scale seems to be very accurate and is easy to use!The software is downloaded from the LifeSource Website but has one very small drawl back and that is only one user can use the scale and the software, unless you want to delete a profile or add another scale.I found this to be a major disappointment as I wanted to track multiple peoples weight.If you are only tracking one persons weight it is a great tool with the informational software that is included. I would give 5 stars if Software allowed to track at least two different people.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product for my husband and I to use.The main reason I choose this product is because the display is on a remote, and the max capacity is 550lb.When we received the product I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the scale can track 8 users, and will "remember" up to 10 past weights for each user.It also has a weight goal function, and will calculate how much the user needs to loose to reach his or her goal.

The set up is fairly easy and really simply.The directions are really straight forward, (I personally had some issues with the directions because they are pictures, and I was impatient so I didn't look closely at the pictures).

This product has exceeded my expectations! I would recommend this product to any one.The remote with the controls and display make it really easy to use, and the platform is sufficiently large.The only thing is the first time my husband used this product we thought he might be over the 550 capacity because the display just displayed "--------", he tried it again when he realized that his stomach must have been in the way of the infrared beam between the scale and the remote.Once he adjusted how he was holding the remote it worked perfectly.
