(More customer reviews)At first, I was very attracted by the aesthetics of this scale. I'm a sucker for anything thin, black, and glass. I thought it was doing the job, but I was not aware that placing it on carpet would have such a dramatic effect. When I was going through some dieting routines, it claimed that I was losing 30lbs within a week or two. I thought that was quite ridiculous, but did not doubt my scale. When I finally moved it onto tile, it showed a more accurate report, but it still has a tendency to fluctuate frequently, even if I step off and step back on. I compared it to two other scales in my house, and the other scales are pretty dead on with each other, while this one tends to be off by a lb or two.
