Basic Analog Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)**********See my follow up comment-things got better due to the excellent customer service************

I bought this scale, did the instructions and it gets a different weight each time I get on it.I thought it depended on what foot I stepped on it with, but nope sometimes the weight is 130 sometimes 140...no bueno, ladies...pretty frustration bologna huh? I wrote their customer service so lets see what they say. They suggest on the insert to ship it to them for repair with a prepaid package to ship back....that would cost more than the product, probably double, which I am sure was the plan all along of course.Lesson learned, this brand is a bummer.

Taylor 7006 Lithium Electronic Digital Scale with 1-Inch LCD display Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The other review almost scared me to cancel the order.Turned out it's not that bad at all.You just step on it, no need for reset or anything. It's pretty accurate and consistent, I'm 1.23lb heavier after lunch.Although after you move it, the first meaurement is off, that's stated in the manual. Also I thought the corlor is silver metallic from the picture, it's actually more like white/beige.

EDIT:
In one week, battery low came up twice already.Turned out the other guy maybe right.Wish I could lower the rating and exchange the product.

Taylor 7004 Compact Lithium Digital Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Yep,

I agree with at least the first three reviews. My "lifetime" lithium battery lasted one year.Upon replacing the battery, I "reset" the scale per the instructions. At that point, I could get past a dashed line on the screen and it would not only not read my weight, but also not shut off. Those expensive little 3V CR2032 batteries died on me BECAUSE the scale would not shut off.And as far as the first review, I can also totally agree.I could not get consistent weight readings (yes, it's a flat floor)from one time to the next.SAVE YOURSELF SOME $$ and just go buy a cheap "spring" style scale.OK, it might not be accurate to 1 pound (say), but isn't that good enough? My new Sunbeam spring scale from Walmart for $15.00 works great and it's SIMPLE.

Taylor 4827 Upscale Speedometer Dial Scale, Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The price for this scale says $19.95 marked down to $9.99, but it really is more like $.50 marked up to $9.99.Right out of the box, the scale does not zero out--because the plastic top to the scale rubs and catches on its plastic base when you stand on it.And the scale reads my weight 10 lbs. lighter than it actually is.Not everything made in China is horrible, but this particular Chinese piece of "craft" is horrible.
