(More customer reviews)Great compact scale - amazing technology - a little hard to read the various graphs generated by the scale while standing up, and the instructions are a little confusing...but once you master them... WOW.

Escali USTT180 Track and Target Bathroom Scale Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Wow, this is a great scale. I now own three different Escali scales and I bought this one partly based on my satisfaction with the other Escali's (which I love). But this one stands on its own as a really useful scale. It replaces an older tracking scale by A&D, and boy times have changed.

This scale has smart features I've never seen in any other bathroom scale. You don't have to turn it on, just step on and it starts.AND if you're within 6 pounds of your last weight, it guesses which user you are and puts you into the correct user. The only time I can see this as a problem is if you have two people using it who are very close in weight. But even then you could manually select the correct user before you step on.If you don't fit into any of the saved users, it just shows you your weight. I really like this because now others can't see either my target weight or last weight simply by weighing themselves. This was embarrassing to me before with my old tracking scale because it showed everything when someone tapped it. So many guest weigh themselves, for some reason, when they used my bathroom. I know this because they would comment on my stats on my old scale. This Escali privacy feature will help to solve that. You can review the info by pressing the SET button, but I don't think many guests would do that. If you have 4 users, just make sure your's is the last user and other's will never cycle (using the SET key) to yours. In normal use, they would never see see your info by default (it figures out which user you are by your weight).

I've never seen a display like this, but it works well. It's black, and the figures come on as lighter. They're fairly bright, not like an LED, but easy to see.

The repeatability have been perfect every time so far, always giving the same weight no matter how many times i step on and off.

I love being able to set a target weight and see how far I have to go. The scale gives you the results of how much you've changed from the last time you've weighed and the amount you have to go. It gives you all the info on the display. I just wish the display stayed on a little longer to let you get it all in.It stays on for 10 seconds, I assume to save battery life, so I've learned to look quick.

Go to Escali's web site and download the manual if you have any questions.

Escali High Capacity Large Display Bathroom Scale (400lb/180kg) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These scales are the third set I have bought to weigh myself. I am a big guy (360) & these are the first that will weigh me the same two times in a row. Yes, they do kind of have a small space to stand on but I believe it makes them more accurate. If you weigh too much in pounds you can always switch them to kilos & weigh half as much! The other scales I tried would not weigh the same twice in a row & they sounded like they were breaking to pieces when I stepped on them.
If your big like me I can recommend these scales.

Escali High-Capacity Bathroom Scale with Body Fat/Body Water Monitoring (440lb / 200kg) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)As a scale, I give this product 5 stars. It gives me accurate and consistent readings every time.I went with a high capacity scale as I've got size 14 feet that dangle over the sides of most commercial scales giving me inaccurate readings. The large surface area of this scale has made that a non-issue and I've been very please with the product in that regard. As a body fat analyzer, this product did not live up to my expectations.I was displeased to find this product does not in fact have an Athlete setting for body fat measurements as is claimed in Amazon's description of the product. As a lifelong weightlifter I have always found body fat analyzers very inaccurate due to my increased muscle mass.I thought this product would be able to provide me with accurate body fat measurements by way of having a setting specifically for athletes.Unfortunately that has not been the case as the scale routinely advises me I have approximately 35% body fat which is in direct conflict with caliper & hydrostatic testing that has put me at around 20% body fat.

I was going to knock my review of the scale down to 3 stars over, seemingly, false advertising.I decided not to because I reviewed both the instruction manual and Escali's website and found no claims of this product featuring an athlete setting. Therefore the fault may lie with Amazon's listing of the product and not the product itself. In summary, a good scale for large individuals.A subpar bodyfat analyzer for anyone with above average levels of muscle mass.
